Biography:
Stephen M. Tatone is CEO of AKT Group LLP, which manages AKT LLP CPAs and Business Consultants, AKT Wealth Advisors LP, AKT Benefit Advisors LP, and AKT Retirement Plan Services LP.
With offices located in Oregon, California and Alaska, the firm was recently recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of Oregon's Fastest Growing Companies for the fifth consecutive year, based on growth in sales, profits and total return, as well as an increase in market capitalization size. It was also named the Business of the Year in 2009 by the Carlsbad (Calif.) Chamber of Commerce for its success in business, exceptional customer service, excellent employee benefits and community involvement.

Steve began his career in 1973 as one of the founding members of the firm in Salem, Oregon. His practice areas include strategic planning, executive coaching, business consultation and human resource issues. In addition, he excels at skillfully negotiating business mergers, sales and acquisitions. Steve is an active member of the Oregon Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs and also serves on the board of directors of CPAmerica International and BSF International.
